Biography

Guo Liang graduated with a doctoral degree in Plastic Surgery from Army Medical University and has been engaged in clinical work in plastic and aesthetic surgery for nearly 20 years. He has solid theoretical and technical foundations and extensive clinical experience, especially in minimally invasive surgical treatment. He has served as principal investigator of the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Project No. 81301638), and as principal investigator for projects funded by the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation (2012FFB06808) and the Hubei Provincial Health Commission (WJ2021M159). He was selected for the Wuhan Young and Middle-aged Backbone Talent Training Program and has obtained 1 invention patent and 1 national utility model patent. He currently serves as an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology, the Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery, and the Medical Journal of Wuhan University. As first author/corresponding author, he has published more than 60 SCI original articles and more than 10 Chinese-language original articles in authoritative medical journals in China and abroad.

Specialties: comprehensive rhinoplasty, refined facial surgery, minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, facial contouring, advanced anti-aging plastic surgery, small-incision breast augmentation, cleft lip repair, and scar reconstruction.
